The Abessive/Ilmaütlev represents "without something, without someone"

Add ta to the genitive form

kelleta?	milleta?

The following four nouns are declined in the Abessive/Ilmaütlev case:

Book	Room	Bridge	Boat
raamatuta	toata	sillata	paadita

Examples

The abessive case is almost always preceded by ilma. The abessive suffix (ta) is only added to the noun.

Me läksime linna ilma rahata.	[without what?]
Ta jäi ilma piimata	[without what?]
